Hi! I’m Courtnee

I began my journey into birth work in 2017, inspired by the birth of my second child at home. Since then, I’ve supported over 200 families as a doula and student midwife, attending births in homes, birth centers, and hospitals.

My approach is gentle, affirming, and rooted in the belief that you already have everything you need within you to have a centered, empowered birth. I am here as a guide — to walk beside you with steady, compassionate support as you connect with your strength.

I believe that birth is a sacred, normal, and powerful event, and that care works best when it honors the partnership between providers, doulas, and the families we serve. I’m passionate about making doula and midwifery care more accessible to those who want these options.

I completed my doula training through Birth Arts International, and in 2020, I began my midwifery studies with the National College of Midwifery. I apprenticed with Welcome Home Midwifery Services and look forward to becoming a California Licensed Midwife later this year.

When I’m not attending births, I’m most at home with my family (including our dog and two cats), out in nature, or tending my garden.
